“HOLIDAY CLASSICS FOR A WINTER’S NIGHT” CONCERT

    Join the Rockville Chorus on Sunday, December 22, 2013 for their “HOLIDAY CLASSICS FOR A WINTER’S NIGHT” concert at 7:30 PM at the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre at the Rockville Civic Center Park located at 603 Edmonston Drive, Rockville, Maryland  20851.

Rockville Chorus Director, Bryan Seith, has chosen the “Schubert Mass in G” as the main selection for this performance. Local string musicians will accompany the Chorus for this sacred piece, with soloists from within the group. Some of the other selections for this winter concert include “Ding Dong! Merrily on High! arranged by Kirby Shaw, “Break Forth, O Beauteous Heavenly Light” and “Cold and Fugue Season” by J.S. Bach. “Ocho Kandelikas” by Flory Jagoda (arranged by Joshua Jackobson), “Chanukah Madrigal” by Herbert Fromm, and “Seasons of Love” by Jonathan Larson (arranged by Roger Emerson) from the musical RENT round out the program.

The Rockville Chorus is currently composed of 81 members. They have been delighting local audiences of all ages with quality musical selections for more than thirty years.
