“FORTY-FIVE YEARS OF MUSIC” CONCERT
Join the Rockville Chorus on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. for their “FORTY-FIVE YEARS OF MUSIC” concert at the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre at the Rockville Civic Center Park located at 603 Edmonston Drive, Rockville, Maryland 20851.
Rockville Chorus Director, Bryan Seith, has chosen a diverse selection of classical and holiday music for this program including Pachelbel’s “Magnificat”, Barber’s “Sure on This Shining Night”, and Rutter’s “What Sweeter Music”. Additional highlights of the upcoming concert include Rossi’s “Haleluya Haleli nafshi”, Snyder’s “Winter Pathetique” (based on Beethoven’s Sonata No 8, 2nd Movement (Pathetique), Myers’s “The Winter’s Night”, Ramos’s “One Light”, and others.
The Rockville Chorus is currently composed of 90 members. This year marks the 45th year that they have been entertaining local audiences of all ages with quality musical selections.
